Prospective Lab Members

Information about how to join the lab!

I am currently keen on hiring PhD and Msc students in my lab, for Fall 2024/2025.

I am happy to discuss potential research projects, and identify and support your applications for various sources of fundings. There are many opportunities to help fund your studies at the University of Guelph (see this page for scholarships, awards and financial aid).

To ensure a response from me, please be sure that the following three items are clearly outlined when reaching out to me by email:

(1) a short description outlining your research interests, experience and why you are interested in joining the lab.

(2) suggestions of potential sources of funding to support your studies (see below).

(3) CV and unofficial transcripts for undergrads; for everyone else, include your detailed CV or resumes!

Full disclaimer: International students should be aware of the cost of international tuition fees, as well as cost of living, to come study at the University of Guelph (information to be found here). This can make it much more difficult to adequately fund graduate studies given the minimum stipend requirement in place at the University of Guelph. It is even more important to discuss how to fund your studies.

Here are some important links and dates for prospective candidates, as well as ideas for funding:
